Which AR did this mid come from?

Title says it all. I'm trying to identify what AR this midrange came from. Guessing AR 10? Did they go in anything else?

Interesting reading. Thanks for the links. So this must be from the Teledyne era. Looking through those threads they were used in the AR 3a Limited version crossed over a little differently from the AR 11 and AR 10pi that they were also in. In the Steve Hoffman thread they are described as Tonegen drivers from the late 80's early 90's. They also go on to say that the AR 3a Limited was an asian market speaker so I'm inclined to think that this particular example which came from my dads collection of spare parts is more likely to be from an AR 11 or AR 10pi.

Is my thinking going down the right path?

Hi, same midrange found in my AR10PII Replica, circa 1990, in the second photo you can compare it to the AR3a imp. mid. on the right.
These AR10PII all have Tonegen components, like the various replicas of the AR3a, the tweeter is different in this case with a fabric dome (AR3a replicas or Limited have paper domes in the tweeters).

Thanks for the pictures! Looking at the fiberglass ring in the center they appear to be a match for the AR 10PI

That mid is a service replacement for the 3a, and LST according the AR-3a restoration guide. Probably made it into lots of other ARs as well.

Service replacement being for a repair? Was a different part number used for replacements?
