Who Throws Audio Gear Away

That's right, I'm totally conscious of what I'm doing when I throw audio gear in the trash. Last week I put about 25 LPs out with the garbage, had no room for them, out they went. I put "Born to Run" right on top of the pile, wasn't long before a fella stopped and took them.

Well sure , Born to Run , That was an easy call there .

I once threw out an HK Twin Power because the input RCAs had broken. This was before I knew how easy of a fix it was. I wasn't a bad person, just stupid. I still regret it.

I don't trash much. Nearly everything is recyclable if you're willing to put in the time to do it.

.....just stupid. I still regret it.

I hear ya...

Speaking of stupidity and regret, I threw out my AR-2ax speakers which I had bought new in 1975. The speakers were less than 10 years old.

Something to do with newlywed "WAF" and them looking out of place with the rest of the new furniture in the living room .........

To a newlywed wife, "accept me, accept my stereo gear."
