Who's listening to FM Tonight? What tuner?

Listening to HD radio with my portable Insignia HD tuner. Meh. It sounds okay. Nothing to write home about. But it is tiny.

WTMD in Towson, Maryland has a smokin' blues show, The Roadhouse, going right now on my venerable Sherwood S3000-III.

Echoes on wxxi 91.5 and my Yamaha T-80. I took the Sony ST-J75 down tonight for a change in mood. The Yamaha sounds so much different in it's own way. Hard to describe but it's different source material too. Seems to have less bass and greater high extension well go figure. Imaging is wide and deep more so than the ST-75. Very clear sound from this tuner. Natural...?
I like the automatic filter selection.

Listening to my own radio station through a Ramsey FM100B.

Listening to a reference playlist. Comparing highly modified TU-9900, TU-919, and TU-717 to a stock TU-919.

Nice lineup Mike not to mention the Black Beauty on the wall!

I want to say the 9900 won this extraordinaire. :scratch2:

Listening to KXJZ 90.9 on the "new" Yamaha CR-820 receiver. Nice tuner in this unit, this station locks in with no noise at all.

Well, it wasn't tonight but was recent: listening to KSDS 88.3, and KIFM 98.1 on a new-to-me Tandberg 4031 tuner.

Nice enough piece but it is off to a new home and I will be enjoying the 3001A on those stations plus KPBS 89.5 later this evening, when they run their classical segments.

Hearts of Space "Waiting" wxxi 91.5 Rochester. They hide this show until 10 pm Sunday night in shame after a wretched day of religious programming NPR style.

Lovely wood case on the Citation 15. I enjoy mine, how is yours holding up in that elite company?

The MR78 McIntosh was tuned to CBC2 Vinyl Tap then a sonic break for an extended version of the Rolling Stones - Emotional Rescue and then back to Nightstrokes(?) on CBC2 which is superb right now, for me.

The Citation is very nice, but a bit weak on sensitivity compared to the others. Took for ever to get all the bugs out of the HK. Never get time to work on my own stuff.

Should state that most those are not my tuners. I rarely get to listen to my own tuner.

Interesting. Mine pulls in very well and the noise reduction results in the cleanest signal on difficult stations of any of my tuners. Gotta love the monster bass even though it may be a bit overdone.

Listening to Tonic on CBC2 on my little Sony. 100 some miles away and clear as if it was local. Beautiful!

Listening to KSHE KLASSICS SHOW here in St. Louis, MO, as usual on a Sunday morning. Got a new sub to go with my Sony giant-killer, and all I can say is, I'm in heaven!
