The woman looks like Laurence Fishburn with a wig.

This can't be for real!

It's almost certainly fake. Pinterest is full of these things. A bit of googling reveals that the maybe real, maybe not original (?) is only slightly better:

the best/worst album covers thread appears to have disappeared...unless its just me ?

While I recall many thread re: "This" or "That" on an album cover, e.g., "Girls" and, more recently, "Skulls", and maybe a "Best" (ir @ least "Favorite"), I don't OTTOMH recall a "Worst" covers thread. Might be that there was such but it died long ago, too long ago for me to remember it...?

[Mystic]

are you shocked? LOL

All it took was posting an image of the Boss Hog debut effort, an EP entitled Drinkin', Lechin' & Lyin' (1989), but there's no place for such @ this thread as it is far from being among the worst album covers...

Looking @ their "eyes", I'm wondering if they were able to see the photographer?

Ok: a few "Worst Album Cover" candidates to follow... So many excellent examples out in the ether, especially among the so-called "Private Label" crowd.

This one has been near the top of Worst but is so bad it's good and I even have a copy of the thing:

With apologies to Chris (@HarmanKardon), who likes this cat, Heino cover art is usually a hoot:

Gotta include this one:

Demonstrating that being "shot" by a Major Label is no guarantee of good cover art:

Another classic "bad cover" that I have inmy LP collection:

Some of these are akin to shootin' ducks in a pond...

[Mystic]

nb: there are dozens of BAD (or good, depending on yer POV) album art that depict, um, RACIST themes. In the interest of this thread's health, I will refrain from posting such.

Is there a "good" Wayne Cochran album cover?

[Mystic]

nuther note: ^^^ this Cochran thing got me to lookin' round for a Palmer Rocky album cover, thus far w/out success.
