$7.00 Starbuck's Coffee

Second, loved him using the same coffee in both cups!! :thmbsp: We should do some audio A/B tests the same way. We'd probably get the same results. :lmao:

I have, in fact, done that with A-B tests of speaker cables and IC's. I'll refrain from saying what the results were.

When we go to the city, I usually avoid Starbucks, I guess it's because I am a marketing type. Inverted? - maybe, or maybe just seeing all those iPads (far too important to leave their work behind) at work next to a cold cup of coffee. To look like a real "Captain of Industry", no iPad, no phone, just lean back and look pensive with a pink FTimes on the table.

Just seems like the only place to show off your latest gizmo next to a $7 cup. The guy that sits with a laptop and a $4 cup must really feel out of place, and poor.

Love coffee, hate hype. $7 is hype. Reminds me of J Nicholson and his coffee in "The Bucket List".

Actually, this strikes me as hilarious on a couple levels. First off, Starbucks roasts the daylights out of the beans, so what's the point of using good beans if you cook them to death?

BTW, I've never had a cup of coffee from Starbuck's I liked.

So -that's- the reason it tastes like burned crap? Mystery solved.

I elevate my speaker cables up on top of strategically placed $7 cups of Starbucks coffee. Creates a dark roasted sound...

hehe, that's funny. whenever i go to any coffee shop, i see all these people with apple laptops doing something very serious. all of them using macbook. and i go there to get away from work. sometimes i wonder what exactly they're doing....maybe playing games.

I just tried that. The highs sounded distinctly burnt.
