Cool American military planes.

Was attached to VF-103 on the USS Enterprise. I was not a big fan of the F-14 due the man hours to flight hours required to keep them in the sky. This is a pic (from the web, I will dig mine out one day) of Santa Bones. Our CO was a renegade and gave us the OK to paint the tail!

We need more photos of air bound military machinery. I wonder if I can find another spot like that. Well there’s the Intrepid museum, but I like the random finds. I think the museum is temporarily closed now anyway. Hmmmm time to look around.

WWII weekend is a must for any wwII history buff! between all the warbirds, vehicles and reenactors made you feel like you really were back in 1944. plus getting to meet and talk with many of the real Band of Brothers, doolittles co-pilot R.E.Cole, Paul Tibbetts, Tuskegee Airmen, the list goes on was incredible. unfortunately I have not been able to go back since my second heart attack, but maybe next year

Don't forget the piston engined Flying Wings (XB/YB-35).
Jack Northrop was obsessed with Flying Wings.
