Did Quadraflex make decent speakers?

Tastes differ a lot. So whether others like them or not, you might enjoy them. I was given a pair of 12 inch two ways in an unattractive blond wood by a woman who had worked at Pacific Stereo. They were okay, and did play loud, and a younger guy was glad to have them. Now I might consider econowaving them, but this was before I knew about it.
This doesn't affect the sound, but the woman said that Pacific Stereo was a great place to work and lot of staff keep in touch and have meet ups and so on. Which is nice to hear.

I've mentioned this before but back in the early 1980's before Pacific Stereo closed down I had a friend that worked at their store in Long Beach, California near Cal-State Long Beach. He really enjoyed working there and said it was just a shame the salespeople were more motivated to sell items where they earned an extra "spiff" (like on Quadraflex Speakers) than trying to help customers actually buy what was appropriate. He said the salespeople loved making the spiffs off sales of Quadraflex Speakers but privately called them "Ca-Ca Flex" mimicking the CoaCoa Puffs TV commercials by chanting "I'm Koo-Koo For Ca-Ca Flex"! (lol)

My friend bought his gear there at the employee discount including four of the mid-80's version Large Advent speakers which he stacked!
