Odd , about Weller 107 . Liquor access here is through provincial liquor control board , and poor choices . Anyway...... I found Weller 107 for $ 35.96 CDN
I had never heard of it until this thread . Should I try it ?

Absolutely, expecially if you like wheated bourbon. It's kind of thought of as budget Pappy Van Winkle since it's the same distillery and mashbill.

Thanks , my current favorites are Elijah Craig-12 and Four Roses small batch .. BTW I have a bottle labelled ' Ten High' someone gave me, I have never opened it . Opinions ?

Ten high is cheap well whisky. I know some folks like it though.

I haven't seen a bottle of any expression of Weller bourbon here in NYC in close to 5 years.

I got two bottles of 107 here in NC almost three years ago. And was very lucky to get them then. Haven't seen any since.

Thanks for thinking of me JD, I still have an unopened bottle of Weller Antique I am hiding from my nephews! If you come across some Weller 12, try that as well, the 12 might be even better than the Antique/107. Oh heck, try'em all.

Been saving mine for something special but that $#!ts getting crazy.

Still working on finishing up my regular Weller (SR),even that's been kinda hard to find around here.

Thinking about trading the Pappy 12 for a McIntosh amp

Swampy, I have seen some scary numbers reported on sales of Pappy, mostly from high end auctions. Depending on what year your VW Lot B was released it would have a higher percentage of stocks from the old Stitzler/Weller distillery, which has been torn down. Current releases are made using different casks. From my perspective a McIntosh amp or 2 cases of good bourbon will go a lot further than would one bottle of Lot B. I too have thought about launching my VW, as great as it is, funds could be used elsewhere. YMMV.

I had a glass, ok 2 glasses of Angel's Envy last night. One of my favorite bourbons, might have to restock on that one. I was at a steakhouse with a buddy of mine last night & I spied a bottle of Van Winkle 12 year "Lot B". I asked the bartender how much, "$100." Yikes! That is for a measured pour, not free poured.
