How do you pronounce "AUX"

Aux/OX/OXE..

Either way you pronounce or enunciate it, someone is bound to think you have an accent.:saywhat:
 
I would be very confused if someone said "Oh" to me when they meant Aux. It sounds like zero, and there is of course no Zero input on an amp. Whereas "aux" is unmistakable.
 
In french, it is pronounced in the english equivalent of "OX".

And as someone stated, in french, AUX (auxiliaire) means "something helpful" or "an alternative or supplementary choice"... and even "something used in reserve". All those definitions are well suited to this famous button.
