When did this happen!? I read an interesting article a few years ago where some engineer broke down what it cost to make ufacture a pair of Beats headphones. This included raw materials all the way through labour, manufacture, and packaging. It came out to around $19 a pair.

I've been using Sonarworks for almost a decade on all but a few of my headphones. They didn't sound alike at all, they sounded properly tuned to bring out the best in them. They still retain their own personality.
