A recent gift from my son and wife, a classic example of a MCM “Atomic” lamp. They add just the right touch to my listening space.

My dad picked this up at a garage sale for $1 back in the 1990s.
Tensor went on to make some funky bedside lamps in the 1960-70s, but I've never seen another one like mine.
The arm/lamp part connects to the base via a 1/4" plug (like a guitar cable connector) and I love that they provide the expected bulb life for each brightness setting.
So cool...
