Marantz 23XX receivers vs. the 22XX line

I own the 2250B and the 2325 for many years now. I like both but some how the 2250B is always on top. FM is just as good as the 2325 and sounds a bit better overall.
Both are great looking.

I've got a 2325 too. It's been in the shop more than a few times for output issues (which blow up the woofers on my JBL Centurys!!). With the walnut sleeve, this unit has got to be one of the best looking vintage receivers though!

Anybody know how many gangs the 2325 tuner has? I've checked my manual, but this info is not listed. I'm trying to figure out if the tuner in the 2325 is better than the one in my Yamaha CR-2020 reciever.

Even though this is extremely old it is still relavent. I known many people who who only ever had a 2230 and just love the quality of sound produced and simplicity of the reciever.some went to the 2245 or the 2270 ad tbey were the same basic amp design. I still to this day hear the same "they are warm tube like sound".
Does that take any think away from ny 2265 or 2325. Absolutely not. Alot is personal preference. Thearly 70s model were a simple design comparet to the mid to latwr 70s with dolvy FM , change in both amp ,pre amp design ,and the tuner haveing to be part of the dolby system.
The 2230 and 2270 are still 2 of Marantz's most pipular recievers.
