To be honest, I don't know if this is the sweetest looking piece of gear I own, but it just got back from restoration and it sounds so good that it seems prettier. What the heck. This is an opinion thread. I nominate the Luxman R-1070 as an entrant in the audio gear beauty pageant.

I really like that! I'm not sure that I would call that beautiful aesthetically speaking but it definitely meets my criteria for "cool," which is good enough! It makes me think of this brand of drums (I'm a drummer) that I've always wanted called Trixon, where all of the individual drums are conical rather than cylindrical. They remind of of the Jetsons as does this receiver (I guess that's what it is). I want to remake my whole life with all Jetsons looking stuff... the Trixons and that receiver thing to start maybe...
