most beautiful electronics of all time

lol im glad that you set the standard for all human, but i think they look wicked and they would find a place in a space with a certain atmosphere/decor.

I call's em as I see's em. They IMO do look wicked. However, in this case that's not a good thing. If anyone else other than physicist disagrees with me please speak up.:D

As a functional(I'm assuming) open baffle, I can see the design intent. As a piece of art, I can see the design intent. It's clever, it's certainly different. A LOT of work went into the symmetry, and it looks as if they're using high quality drivers. If they package that as a functional sculpture, I'd be interested in hearing it.

IF, however, they are claiming a technical functionality, by virtue of the cup-shapes and resulting diffraction patterns, or some such, I want to see the technical paper(s), but I'd still be interested in hearing it.

Unfortunately, I agree with physicist. The designers did their job. Curiosity overcomes revulsion.

Altho, at first glance, I did kinda want to wash my eyes out with soap.

I'm very curious as to what décor compliments them the most. I suspect furnishings from the George Jetson period would be the best fit.

The AU 9500 is one of those rare examples of my loving the feel as much as the sound with a piece of gear.

Looks good too.

Edit: I had a quote from the first post about the Venerable AU 9500 but deleted It after failing to trim the quote within a quote ... etc. Just sayin’.

Maybe inside the TARDAS, but it looks like the Doctor already has a pretty extensive surround sound system installed.

little professor.png Maybe not what you had in mind... but this is an absolute classic which fetches top dollar on the collectors market in mint condition. ;)
