Yes leaps and bounds! I listening to some Korn , Pink Floyd , Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga last night, the latter 2 for my daughter who came down for a listen. She gave it a 9 out of 10 whatever that means??? To sit and listen was a sound of 3 dimension. It's difficult to explain however I will try my best. It's bass heavy without loudness, bass needs to be dialed back a bit to get it under control. Once dialed back the bass is full and punchy but not sloppy. The mids and treble are spot on and the clarity is unbelievable. If you were to close your eyes and listen to each track, you'd swear the band or performer was right in front of you. I haven't had the chance to run vinyl through it, that's my plan later today. My test is the wall, there are so many different tracks on those records that either make an amplifier shine or show you where it's lacking. I'm also curious about it's max wattage, another measurement i'm going to take before it leaves the bench. I'll post more once I hear some vinyl.
I discovered there are a couple of errors in the manual, one resistor is missing from the list and one cap value is incorrect, i'll post those as well.
