Most definitely a Soviet speaker, the CCCP and the Cyrillic script give it away...

LOMO did in fact make speakers and they were typically copies of Goodman as well as ones that that were identical to some older Tandberg loudspeakers I have seen...

They were made in Leningrad (Now St. Petersburg as of 1991) and they also made them in the ancient city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan and were usually stamped with a CK prefix. I have been told that the ones made in Samarkand were not of as good quality...

Looks like you got something pretty interesting here- you don't see Russian stuff like this everyday, except for maybe Russian tubes, which are in abundance....

Nice relic from the Brezhnev era- would be curious as to how they sound? Do you have any reports yet?

If they're good copies of Goodmans drivers, the sound should be anywhere from "quite nice" to "excellent."

In a centralized economy production is determined by the state and the state may or may not confine production of any particular item to any particular concern. So the fact that LOMO made speakers doesn't necessarily mean they made the speakers under discussion here. This is true even if there are LOMO speakers that look very much like these. (More than one concern may have been working from the same plans found under the same rock outside the same Goodman's factory.)

It's the absence of the LOMO logo and the presence of brz where you might expect to find a logo that makes me wonder about these.

It's fun to speculate. Ain't it?

Are those two ways? I see a x-over but no pics of the tweeters. If the are, the specs are/may be different from those posted above. Iv owned a set and they had the same woofers with a 4" cone tweet as well. The ones I had were rated at 10W with 60hz-16Khz frequency response. Are they finished in a really nice (teak I think)? I think I may still have the tweets somewhere actually.... HTH

Thanks , I will take pictures of the cabinets , I would like to put these drivers to work in a different setup , they sound amazing actually but the set up is questionable, looks like a hand made cab ,

I think it was CCCP Woofer, CCCP drivers, CCCP vintage audio, etc. Doesn't work now as well as before because our photos pop up now. The trick is to do your search in "Images" first, that way you can scan all of the sites looking for the image that is of interest, then you can go to the site and explore.
