New large Advent speakers..

Just wondering...what would be a fair price range for a restored pair of the New Large Advent speakers? :scratch2: ( In the bullnose finish) Thanks!

If you try to sell them locally in upstate NY you may have trouble because they are so common.

However, on ebay to the world market they demand a high price. Perhaps they werent even sold in places like California?

Seems around here the most popular speaker to find is some sort of advent.

Hanley,I was considering buying a pair. A local gentleman has them for sale and hes in the mid 200$ range. I didnt want to lowball him but I am on a somewhat limited budget.Just wanted to see what the market was for them.Thanks!

I was unaware of this.. upstate NY is a great place for vintage stuff? I wouldnt mind taking a drive to upstate for some NLA or OLA for a great price

NY...upstate is probably about the same as other areas..hit and miss as far as vintage gear goes. I,ve yet to pick up anything at GW or VOA that would be worth mentioning,but CL has been pretty good at times.
