Post ugly production cars here

I like orange and I even have a bike painted that color.

I'm on the verge of ordering this.

The Cube looks like some kind of ride at Disneyland. Every time I see one on the road I have to fight the urge to ram it off into the weeds.
I only resist because anyone who would buy and drive one is likely demented.

If the designers of it worked for me (or Maximum Bob Lutz) they'd now be working at designing home aquariums.

Yep, fugly.

I actually like all the AMCs and the Edsel. But that Camry is an abomination, worst thing in this thread.

Most of the new cross over's sort of look alike with the same roof line and the pinched rear windows but this sucker is ugly all on it own. I've never seen one either.

W/some of these designs, its obvious the Japanese are looking to get even w/us for Hiroshima & Nagasaki...

That QX56 is brand new (which is why you haven't seen one) and is definitely not a crossover. It's 76" tall, 208" long, and 80" wide...

I would love to have one of those. I have a late model Nissan Titan 4x4 off road and these are excellent vehicles and that is one luxurious ride that would blow away any American SUV IMO. Built in USA.

Ugliest?
POS'iest!

This would rate right down there with it.
My dad bought one of these in 74.
It accumulated more mileage on the back of a tow truck
dragging it back to the dealer than under its own power.

Lexus SC430 - never quite liked the lines on this car, especially with the top down. It was like someone stepped on it...

The 200SX wasn't much better:

Although I love this car, lots of people did not when it was introduced, below is a stock appearing Porsche 914/6 (mine looks like this one) version of the 914. Contrast it to a few of the GT variants for racing:

Yeah, why are ROUND or SQUARE/RECTANGULAR headlights such a No-No anymore ? Half the new headlites look like an abcessed hangnail or an ingrown toenail...

Because headlights no longer have to be approved by the DOT, as long as the manufacturer says they are good they can put "DOT Approved" on them. When stylists took over the design, optical quality went out the window.

BTW I don't have pictures but every Hyundai I see looks like they hit it with an ugly stick as it came off the line.

Also, CAD design for optics and headlamps can provide decent to very good light while incorporating aerodynamics considerations. Once the US DOT allowed sealed beam lights to disappear, and the use of separate replaceable halogen bulbs, then headlamp design could be integrated into the car design. Also, lamp advances such as Bi-Xenon lamps allowed for far better headlights than previously used.

Although sometimes pretty ugly, its called progress. Not sure I like all the small front LED lights that cars like Audi is using, I think they are ugly too. However the high intensity Red LED tail and stop lights are likely to stay forever.

Some of those LED tail lights are too dangerous.. WAY too bright and blind you. Especially some of the mini vans that have really long lights that go down each side of the rear..
