Prices.... Going Up!!!

Sorry, that is not true. I just bought a bottle last week. We usually use Sunflower oil, but I was shopping at a new store and couldn´t find it, so I bought canola (Rapsöl).
Sorry, I will edit it. I was doing some research on it and came across that statement somewhere, I never fact checked it as I should have. My bad.

I read an article from a trusted source that says some gas stations may run out of gas this summer. It won't be from the lack of gas but the lack of drivers to make deliveries. When you pay people more money to stay home rather than work then a lot of them are going to stay home. I don't have a crystal ball but I have a hunch that gas prices will continue rising rapidly.

The drivers I know sure don't get paid enough considering the skill and risk involved in their job .

Saw multiple photos today of THOUSANDS of Ford pickups parked in Detroit and Kansas City waiting for computer parts. Shortage of semi-conductors is driving prices up in lots of disparate market segments.

I knew about the GPU card shortage due to crypto mining but didn't know about the basic chip shortage. Interesting.

Was looking at getting a 1080 graphics card and can't get a new one on eBay from Australia, only available overseas. Pre-used are going to auction with prices heading towards +$1000 AUD. N.O.S. overseas versions look to be about $1000 USD

Yo OTB ... be a pal and shipa coupla those slabs my way ... The Frenchies & Luxies don't "do" the ribeye "cut". (so why is there -- badly rendered -- "French" on the label? For our Canadian brothers who prefer French or for import to Canada thus requiring "French" per GWN's "language law"?)
;)

nb: is $12.47/lb really an outrageously high price for prime ribeye? I havn't shopped for ribeye since 2014, but IIRC, it wasn't all that cheap back then, @ least not in Santa Barbara (CA).
Pre FTL it was $9.49lb
