Random Thoughts or Whatever

Where did they go?

My younger sister(61 years old) called me yesterday to ask a 'very important' question..

Was 'Wimpy' homeless or a veteran..?!? Why did he always have to wait until Tuesday..?!?

Okay, she asked two questions..

Was surprized to find that at one time, there were over 1000 "Wimpy" restaurants in 23 countries, and there's one a 1/2 hour drive from me.
The food was so so, and didn't order a hamburger...just breakfast.

As per his vocation? I think he spent most of his time, just trying to get a free meal.

Random thoughts about.........FOOD POISONING

Sunday night was the worst night of 2026 so far. I ate something flagrantly disagreeable to my system in the afternoon, and at 8PM the fireworks show began,
I thought I was going to break all my ribs vomiting. Every five minutes, from 8 pm until we called the Fire Department at 11:30. I could no longer think rationally. I didn't know what the cause was, or how much longer it would last. I feared it might out last ME. I was losing my ability to get up out of the bed.
Note: The fire department arriving is roughly the equivalent of having the Chicago Bears enter your house en masse. But, it gives you a confidence boost - Like "ain't nothing these guys can't handle." I think the first wave was six fellas, and umpteen bags of medical gear. Then, they called in the ambo, and three more join the crowd. It's funny having a ginormous guy with a handle bar moustache putting in an IV. Nope, no pretty blonde nurses on board the rig that night. I was in an ER bed within about 15 minutes of the first wave arrival.

But of course, as Nature designs such events, by the time I got into the ER, there were no more rib-cracking violent ejections. Ain't that the way things go? I was back home by 6am. All Hail to the Firemen!

I'm glad that you are okay. Sounds like bacterial for sure. It's the toxins those darn buggies produce in the gut.

These guys have great stores. Once things settle down in the ER, they might recount some classic tales.

They come en masse because they don't know what the 911 call is exactly about. It's way better to have 4 too many — than not enough help.
