i have not fully adjusted my sensors yet. But, I'm getting there. I opened the NYT front page last weekend, and read the lead paragraphs on whatever they had on the front page. My conclusion was that it was 100% made up speculation, hearsay, and gossip.
It's odd how mirrors don't seem as precise today, as when I was in my 20s.

- Device A is held near your house (where the fob is). It picks up the weak signal from your fob.
- Device B is held near your car. It amplifies that signal and "relays" it to the car.
- The Result: The car thinks the fob is right next to it, unlocks the doors, and allows the engine to start. The thieves can steal the car in under 30 seconds, often without ever touching your fob.
- Prevalence: This is one of the most common methods of car theft in the US, UK, and Europe. Police reports show a massive spike in these crimes since 2018.

This is absolutely true if one had not yet learned to think. Say for example, preschool kids. I'm fortunate to have discovered thinking power at a very young age, and have had the chance to use this skill well for 70 years. For example, I knew how to do math before I ever owned a calculator. I knew how to write prose before owning a typrwriter of PC. I knew how to read maps before I had GPS.
