Rolling with a Zirconia cant for my Shure V15III. Should be here soon. More good stuff from JICO is on the way.

I just ordered the limited edition having the Zirconia cantilever for my Shure V15Vx. It will be interesting to compare to the boron I have. Although the Zirconia material is about double the density compared to boron, it is bit harder (just below diamond) and they made a hollow tube of it! It should mean that it is both stiffer and lighter than the boron, keeping the cantilever resonance a bit higher. The boron is IMO slightly ahead of the other ruby variants (due to that they are solid and a bit heavier).

Interesting times ahead.

That's some crazy fast shipping. Ordered V15-III Zirconia SAS on the 14th... in my hands today. Most beautiful looking stylus replacements I've ever seen. It's be a few days before I take her own on a maiden voyage but damn this is NICE. Expectations are high...

Would love to hear your thoughts on it. Can you compare it to boron SAS or the stock N35E?

Even though no one have asked for it yet, here is a comparison found on Adamant Namiki site. :)

Audio Technica used a tubular sapphire for the AT150ANV, also with a microridge stylus.

I wonder how the ziconia differs?
