The Yamaha CD-X1 was probably the smallest "vintage" CD player. I had one in 1982. Parts for any of those are going to be almost unobtanium.

Just found this TOSHIBA XR-9458 + AC ADAPTER/REMOTE !
Looks tiny !

The old Technics players are small. Sorry, I can't remember the model number and mine is at work.

Hyper cute: the top loading Sony CDF-7F (I've got 2 of them) which were sold seperately, or as an optional component for one of the FH boombox series (FH-7 I think). Very solid build, brushed metal front (no fake plastic).

And the Sony CDP-17F, also still wanted when one pops up for sale.

Any others ?

Another very nice vintage (must have) one: the Philips CD-104. Just looooove those green digits designs (like the CD-150)

Playstation 1 with the audio out. There was a lot of hype about these a while back, most of it bull. I picked one up for $5 at a thrift just to see for myself. It's actually a decent sounding player, not worth all the hype, but better than some out there.

Hi guys, will 220v cd player work in U.S./Canada ?

Rob,

If it is about the CDP-7F, it has a 110/220V selector switch at the back (very small, difficult to spot in pictures). They were all shipped with US type power plug.

Or in general, you can easily run a 220V CD player from a rather cheap adapter transformer, no problem at all. See ebay, around $10~15.
