I like the idea of most Harbeth speakers, especially the little ones but no way I'd spend that kind of money. Actually, I'm quite happy with NHT's Superzero and Superone speakers. I just wish they had attractive cabinets instead of shiny black plastic veneer.

I've never actually owned these either. I should pick up a pair next time I see some cheap. I don't think the wife would notice another pair of little speakers.

Don't know if they would qualify as anything ultimate, but I'd like to hear a pair of Pure Audio Project open baffle speakers.

I am thrilled with my Duevel Venus omnis and Shahinian Larc speakers, but I would really love to have a pair of Shahinian Hawk or Diapasons. So much money, and rare to find used. Sigh…. But if I did have either one of those, a fairly big change of amplification etc. would have to occur, so makes the whole picture very unlikely. Nice to dream though!

I was just joking, I have had many sets of the 7's and 11's and others. The best set to have is the early "A" versions with the metal plate over the tweeter not the later B/C version with plastic tweeters. The 1st versions in walnut are the ones to have. I should get another pair just to have on hand.
