I prefer the sound of the wind blowing through black pines, but to each their own.

Releasing a stuck pickle jar lid. Instant gratification. I rarely allow dishes to pile up.

Also, stuck jar lids are super easy to break the seal...without even twisting the lid. Insert the tab on the end of this jar opener under the edge of the lid and twist. It pops the seal with no effort. Even my grandmother could do it. I only use that style of jar opener for the tab on the end. I haven't used the ratcheting part on a lid in years.
