I don't think I have ever started a poll before, so here is a question I was thinking about the other day, in relation to AK.
My guess is that Suburbs is going to be the winner, but I really have no idea.

I've been suburbs all my life but going rural soon. Too congested now here and neighbors don't interact like they used to so why have them just to annoy you? LOL

Currently, on a secondary road a few miles outside of a small town. We are working on moving into another small town.

Village of 2500 people next to other villages of similar size but in close proximity to a big city.

1 mile out of a town of about 26,000 people, which is designated the 'county town' of the county.

I guess I should answer my own poll. We presently don't really fit any of the choices I made. 10 minutes outside of a small town (42,000) on the edge of the suburbs, but on a private dirt road with closest year round neighbors a few hundred yards away.

I live in a country subdivision next to a State Forest. There are lots of woods though my property is cleared. We have many deer passing through and just recently had our first buck come through, first one in ten years. There are lots of foxes, coyote, and little to my wife's delight, the cat recently brought us a big lizard and a snake on the same day. There is a small hamlet about five miles from us with a convenience store with gas 24/7. Across the road is a Dollar General. There used to be 2 restaurants, but one didn't make it. We love it here even though Florida loves hurricanes. Eta came through here a short while ago. We were near the eye, but we made it through okay, but the wind was a bit scary.

Country sub division 10 miles from so-called city of 3000. Farms and woodlands in all directions. Been here 3 years and never slept better. Walking my dog early mornings is best time of day.
