I got stuck on a tonearm lift issue on a Fisher 302 turntable. I asked ai for a solution and it returned with an answer based off an AudioKarma post.

It's actually excellent at evaluating content, it really depends on which AI model you're using.

Don't underestimate it. What AI is not great at is being creative. I mean, you can give it in a prompt to play a new song or create a picture or write a story, but they won't be better than a skilled human can do. At least not yet. At some point, however, I fear we will all be superfluous.

BTW, I've had an AI refer me back to AK posts that I'd made and forgotten about as well... D'oh!

It's only as good as the information that it consumes. Unsupervised, it has no means to determine what is true and what is false, except in comparison with the information that it already has. That can lead to incorrect information confirming other incorrect information. There are cures for this problem, but how to know whether those cures have been incorporated?

I'll never need another computer tech that's for sure. It taught me how to set up some pretty slick if/when/then routines on my phone. And with its help, I set up a T-bill ladder. I, for one, welcome our new overlords.
