Hi TOG!

What a wonderful testament of inner strength. Just take it one day at a time & all will be well.

Congrats, that is awesome. I am guessing your life today looks a wee bit better than 3 years ago. There seems to be a bunch of us recovering folks here on AK. Seems audio is a fairly popular thing for some of us.

We will do well in remembering we are sober today only by the Grace of God and any success we may be having is far more his success than ours. 2-10-1991

Thanks fellers! It really wasn't that hard once I decided to quit - admitting it was a problem and quitting was the hard part. It looks like I'm going to be moving back to Ohio and I have a nephew that is going through the same thing. Maybe I can help him if and when I get back there. He's in AA right now but I think having some support from me will help him a helluva lot.

Congrats. I'm at 29 years and I don't really count any more.

Yep, I'll have 18 years in September, but had to count fingers to see where I was. ;) Those birthdays help out in early sobriety though, it makes you feel like you're making progress. Tarl Of Gor, congrats, & it gets better the longer you hang in there. :thmbsp:

Congrats! Many of us know what OUR lives were before that decision and what what we were putting our families through. Again, congrats and many more sober years ahead for all of us.4-3-97
