My 2014 R-Line Convertible is the wolf in chick’s (mobile) clothing. A sleeper I had to have. These were allocated to dealers that sold the most ragtops. I’ve never seen another one, just two coupes. It’s stripped except for the 400W 8.1 Fender stereo and GTI’s DSG drive train, suspension, 18’s, even seatbelt pretensioners that hug me during playtime. The numbers - 0-60 in 5.6 sec, pitchable, governed at 135mph and hides in plain sight for $28k. So far the only car that I had to sign a no snow chains agreement for too.

Ran into a fellow a while back, who has one of those. Unfortunately, when he got it, the previous owner had scattered the engine all over the place, on a track-day...
He also has a NA Miata. He had pulled the original engine and put in a turbocharged 1.8 BP engine and transmission into it.
So, he had the original, perfectly good, 1.6 B6 engine and transmission just sitting around... guess where it wound up?
Lets just say a Bugeye Sprite with 116HP and a 5-speed, is a blast...
