Has anyone else noticed how the price of coffee beans has really gone up in the last two years? I just bought a stock today. About twice as much as in early December, 2025.

Like fuels, I need it so I don't even pay attention.
No need to add any "stress" to my life worrying about things I have no control over.
Edit: guess I should add that the SO orders fair trade, organic and certified mold free green beans that we roast. I believe its about $10 a pound, not sure about shipping.

My wife is the coffee snob between us. She has been paying around $10-$15 per pound, or more, for years. For me, I don't care much for the taste of coffee no matter how much it costs. If coffee didn't have caffeine in it, I would never drink it. Though college I found caffein pills much more efficient, and economical, than brewing coffee or paying for it.
I’ve been roasting for over 15 years. I buy only fair trade and, even better, direct trade beans from the importer/Q grader who buys it from the family farmers, personally. I don’t worry much about the cost as I save at least 40% over roasted coffee.
The other reason I won’t complain about the price of coffee is the book Coffeeland. It’s a tough read, I'm only halfway through it.

Yep; DD had 3lbs for $19.99 for the past several years. A couple weeks ago I stopped to get my usual 3lbs and find it's gone from $19.99 to $35.99!! I wouldn't mind a couple bucks increase but to go up like that; no way. Those 3lbs got put back quickly and I'm now back to hunting for sales on coffee.
I did find 12oz. packages of DD coffee for $6.99. I bought 6 packages which should keep me going all summer.

Seems to correlate to gas prices. I dunno, I don't buy it - that's wifey department. I know this though, TITEBOND GLUE has really gone up!
A game to try is "name the product that is still on the shelves, and is cheaper today — than last year."
A good friend has a specialty roasting company (and runs a coffee bar). Bean prices have gone up dramatically for wholesale recently and are expected to keep going up for the foreseeable future.

Cigs,....
If you have any native reservation land near you, they sell Cigs at far less than the basic retailers. I run Sarge out to them, monthly, for her butts fix. Easily, half price.

I laugh when I hear people saying that we can't/shouldn't tax rich people the way we tax everyone else. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, the rich are going to get richer. That's what they do and always will do, whether you tax them or not.
