16 years after everyone played with the 6LU8 tube, I finally built a spud amp. 4.5 W max output. 1.9% THD+N at 1W, 1kHz, predominately second order. Tiny bit of GNFB (-2.5dB), tuned by ear.
Yea, I stuffed a pair of LEDs up the back end of the compactron tube. There was no good place to put an indicator light that won't mess up the symmetry.
