maybe its conseided to make a self deticated thread, but im doing this for the people that enjoyed my stories, and not for myself. the hobby of audio is a wonderful exiting place with adventure around every corner! the human drama that plays out in this hobby is very intresting. it can be as exillerating as it is depressing! one ak member describes audio as a "journey", and i totally agree! here is mine.....

my first few months here at ak i stayed in the shadows than anything else,
but in may of last year, i opened my childhood stereo time capsule,

a trip to my hi-fi roots

Hey Rob, not really sure we need a re-cap of your posts/threads. When posts finally fade into obscurity it's usually for a reason. Most of what we post usually do.

The memoirs of stereorob, complete with uncapitalized sentences. Maybe he should get Mark Twain to publish them, like he did with Grant's.

I do recommend to everyone that they read the memoirs of U.S. Grant. Elegently written and the man had something to say. Grant wrote simply and precisely and his meaning was never in doubt. Yet he did it with style.

Is this a build up to some sort of awards show like the Golden Globes or Oscars and we get to vote for best supporting thread?? :scratch2:

Ohhhhhhhhh this is the same guy who likes to take pics of himself shirtless with a large chain in front of his gear while practicing his Blue Steel, right? Yikes.

Well, I kinda like it. This way if anyone in the future brings up something about Rob's items. They can be found in one place. At least most of them. :D

The stack of thread links look a lot like the stacks of gear pics in a way. Maybe it's just an overwhelming desire to collect all things audio. Post away, Rob! No one needs to read through threads that get under their skin...unless of course it is a political forum which is why I gave up on them when I found AudioKarma. People here are generally quite friendly and civil with each other which I appreciate. It's a much better vibe here ;).
