The NEW 'Post a picture of yourself' Thread

Here I am at Lake Okoboji, Iowa in 2007. My brother and the band he was part of in the mid 1960's was being inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. My brother is the bald guy on the left.
That was a really great weekend.

What band was he in?

...on a good day...

They're doppelgangers. Honest.

In the meantime, I'll join Clyde with the pipe pics...

Got a little GL Pease going here - what're you smoking, Clyde?

I love the hat!!
I was smoking some C & D "Autumn Evening" after dinner when my wife snapped the pic of me working on the Aristocrat. I am smoking Dunhill "Night Cap" as I am typing this. I am enjoying this with a really good cup of coffee!

This is a shot of me and Floyd, one of our Great Danes:

Here I am from a few years back when I welded Herman the German back on his perch over New Ulm, MN. This is the second largest copper statue in the US with the Statue of Liberty being the largest.

One of the highlights of my welding career!

Thanks guys! A company from MA did the restoration work on him and I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when they hoisted him back up.

I didn't find out until the day they did it so I called my mom and had her pick up my camera from my house. She was so excited to be able to see this. I think I got about a half second of tv coverage on the 5:00 news and they didn't even mention my name in the newspaper.

Oh well. I still got some really cool pictures that I will be able to look back on. You can see my 93X sticker on the top of my helmet. :D The local twin cities hard rock station.

This is an interesting thread. I started it in an attempt to put a face to us AK members. Not that it matters, but when we speak on the site so much, it helps to get to know one another. Makes it easier to determine who listens to what music, etc. And I started it at AK since I have the most posts here. That means I think highly of the folks here. I've yet to come across a jerk at AK, lol.

There was another thread like this posted last year. I will have to see if I can find it. Good yucks!
