Just a fun thread to state anything that you truly enjoy or something that makes you really happy. Who knows it could make a difference in our lives.

Sberger...good for you! I got clean 5yrs ago. Still picken up the wreckage but life is much better for me now.
And you as well!

Everybody has wreckage. For me, picking it up(and doing anything else, for that matter) is a hell of lot easier sober then not.

But you know that.

Forgiving myself for all the problems I caused my wife has been the hardest part. I still can't believe I was so stupid to try that poison ....all it took was one time...jeez

Just being in the same room with my wife makes me happy.

As for "fun" - a little different thing ----
1/ Playing my ukulele
2/ Painting
3/ Holing out a chip shot from 25 yards

My 67 MGB
My record collection, and finding that elusive missing album
My stereo
Hanging out in the shop
Beer
Herb
Waking up in the morning
Family
My house
My garden
Those are just a few of the things that make me happy

Sounds like you have a full and rewarding life. Good health and fortune to you my friend.

Seeing people being generous and compassionate to those less fortunate than them. True empathy in general. Roger Waters says empathy is the only thing that can get us out of the mess we’re in. I wholeheartedly agree:banana:

My biggest worry is the huge mess we are in as a society.....I hope we can fix it before it's too late....I sure see alot of sad folks these days.

Simple life for me, I guess I'm easy to please. Working on the house, the garden, walking the dog, seeing the kids grow and start making their own way in life. Makes me happy every time.

My marriage of 23 years is struggling at the moment for various reasons but I know that no matter what happens there, my wife and I will always be great friends and just knowing that makes me happy too.
