Wow. It would take a great story teller and director to make that not ridiculous and silly.

Oh, the main character's girlfriend mysteriously disappeared 7 years ago at Christmas, so he is following his father's advice
to grow the "small Prophets" in the jars since they cannot lie and have to tell the truth when questioned.
Oh, the main character is a hoarder, lives alone in his father's former home, and his brother wants to take the home,
clean it out and sell it to pay his debts (wow, sound like a lot of Facebook reels!).

My guess is episode 6 will leave a WHOLE LOT of plot details hanging, awaiting the 2nd series, er, 2nd Season in a year ... BBC2

Humans
(2015-2019)

Started this up last night, Series (season to we yanks) I. Episode one was good enough to get me into episode two, at which point I could feel (already) interest waning in the plots, the characters, ans especially the dialogue which (for me) was dull + uninspired. I have a history of liking Channel Four serials out of UK so I expected better. But, I will continue AT LEAST through all of Series I and decide if or not to continue on to Series II.

Finally finished the new "East Of Eden" (NETFLIX 2026), and it's a "Heavy".

Based on Steinbeck's novel (1952), of the raising of two sons, wherein they result in a serious striving for their father's affection.

It's dark at times, yet has light hearted moments as well. The sex scenes are pretty steamy!

The series definitely leaves you with... a "message"!

My wife and I are watching The Penguin and loving it! Two episodes a night and tonight will be our last.
We are really hoping for a follow up season but that isn't supposed to happen until after the next Batman movie if ever.
