What tv show are you currently binging?

FWIW, my next door neighbor B-I-L guest 2 X a week dinner visitation after dinner`s choice has been my complete mid 80ties selection of the/my DVD box set complete TV series run of the popular network Sitcom of Cheers for a ongoing ~ 3 to 4 months, with a 6 to 7 episode per disc run per the 2 evening per week viewing currently.

We both are usually getting a lot of good laughs per episode...

He`s my B-I-L, very close many decades old friend, and my evening`s guest, so he gets the evening`s choice of my vast optical media video selection, and since we both didn`t have a chance to watch the series first network run, we`re not burned out on it, via various offerings in syndication, it has been fresh for our viewing.

When we completely finish this sitcom series, then he will be allowed to select something else for our evening`s viewing after dinner.

Finished up Season 2 of Sugar on Apple TV. Colin Farrell is great as the lead, while jazz and classic movies are a solid part of the background ...
Interesting blend of SciFi and Film Noir ... and ! Very cool stuff! Hoping for Season 3 before too long!

I only caught about 3 episodes of Mad Men, but one happened to be the big reveal episode about where he came from.

Interesting that the show basically brought back the Utz brand.

Aber Bergen, Norwegian drama on MHz. Married couple on the rocks runs law firm. Smart people (and others) do dumb things. Entertaining. Nordic noir meets "Rumpole of The Bailey."

^--^ I love "Rumpole of the Bailey" was watching a few episodes recently, Great show for the Evil Bad Guy from the Beatles movie"Help"!

Finished "The Black List"... Love James Spader, Great show.

Finished "Elementary" Nice Sherlock fix, Love it.

Finished "Travelers" good, But another Netflix cancellation before it's time.

Watched "Counterpart"... Shivers... And a pretty cool anime called "The Silent Witch".

Almost finished "The Wire" (2002-2008) HBO.

A slow moving plot, convoluted and detailed with a lot of action.

It stresses the ugly "underbelly" of politics and how budget is all important, along with... getting re-elected!

Trying on Apple TV. A sweet, touching British comedy about a London couple in their 30's trying to adopt after failing to conceive. Recommended.

Local PBS station has pulled "Patience," don't know if it was first or second season  The show its adapted from "Astrid" is still running, but not sure if last show I saw was end of that season, kind of had that feel to it. Can't believe I have enjoyed a French language with subtitles so much, excellent acting especially on Astrid's part.

Want to watch a TV series on the unique side? Try "Sugar" (Apple TV-2024).

Classed as a "nevo-noir mystery". It lives up to its billing.

Camara use is exceptional!

The plot... fast moving as the it follows the path a 50's-type "gumshoe" detective (Colin Farrell).

There's also a "twist" in the works, and it will blind-side you!
