Watching the Kentucky Derby made me want to go buy some Woodford Reserve. But bourbon IMO is not the best choice for a hot summer drink.

I enjoy it most when there's a bit of a chill in the air.

Yes, I saw where the prices were out of control....maybe one day I will catch it on the store shelves.

Nobody drinks Woodford anymore, its too popular

I like any bourbon that is good. I don't have a favorite, but several favorites. I just finished a fifth of Stagg, and now draining a fifth of 3 year KSB (Kentucky Tavern). You combat the low proof, by just taking a bigger swallow. It works!

In the BC years (Before Covid) would search out the small batch or low production offerings.
Now just get my fall back of Makers Mark.

Just bought a bottle of that about an hour ago. Looking forward to a taste.

Was out for a bottle of Larceny single barrel but no luck, the shelf spot was empty.
