Mr. P and Pio: good to hear that a quiet pump is possible. The one air bearing arm set up I've actually heard the pump was rather higher pressure (I think) and was loud enough it needed to be in a different room. Given the way my house is constructed (typical 1911 stuff) putting a pump in another space would be a challenge or at the least impractical.
How do you think one of the lighter linear arms would work out on a TD125? Given I can put my Humpty Dumpty together again I would still be without an arm and open to something very different. I once knew a guy with a Rabco on a TD125 and while it was an ungainly mess it did sound pretty nice, "back in the day".
