I see a ‘65 Electra with fried chicken wings, hmmm. Oh! I know, it’s either Electra Angel to ward off the evil Coupe Devil or a brown acid flashback.

Well you said it was something in the making. You’re not kidding about that Electra, doubly so in the ragtop. The front is a scary cross of crotchless panty and piranha.

I'm a long-time Chevy Nova guy and have owned a few over the years. Here's are some pics of my 1965 Nova SS.
In 1998 it was selected to be the "Johnny Lightning" die cast car for the "Muscle Car USA" series and is pictured on the packaging.
I sold it a few years ago along with another Nova to help fund my 1964 Nova SS pro street project.

Those old Nova's were awsome... just for fun we would replace the worn out engines (most had an inline six) with a hopped up 327 and later a 350... we had so much fun burning the rear tires off !
1962 was the 1st year for the Chevy II/Nova. The V8 option didn't become available until 1964 midway through the production year.
The only V8 option for '64 was the 283. GM decided to release a V8 Nova at the last minute in response to Ford's release of the new 289 powered Mustang. GM had nothing in its class to compete with the pony car so they decided to slap a V8 into the Chevy II. Racers had been doing it before that on their own.
In 1965 you could order the Nova with a 283 and also the 327.
