Very nice ride. Love the paint palette-scheme. Vaguely reminiscent of my favorite delivery truck livery and deli brand - Boar’s Head.
Fun fact if BIL is into vintage audio - Nakamichi made a hump-mount cassette deck. My BIL had a 45 player, Lear I think, in his lowered ‘58 Bel Aire.

The person who owned it prior put in a 6 disc set up in the trunk.....has a transmitter for an FM station....and the 78 yr old gentleman had a 12 BOOMER in the trunk!

About the same time my ‘65 El Camino was finished another HB Donut Derelect regular finished his ‘65 2-door Chevelle wagon. Top side it was all bone stock beige Chevelle 300 down to the grandma’s dinette pattern vinyl. Underneath the hood was smoothie engine bay with a ZZ-454. They made a great pair

I’m a 356 purist when it comes to body modification, but I might be OK with these flares. Much better than rolling them out with a baseball bat like back in the day. The lower louver section is too much for me and probably isn’t all that effective.

According to Gemini, this is a Tickford Healey. It's achingly beautiful to me. The castle at the west end of our village hosts many car meets, so there's always something to see in the summer months.

I like it when improvements are made. Keep the original stuff yes, but man, make improvements. My F.I.L. has a concours level 1961 Jag E-Type Coupe that gets towed from show to show, almost always winning the top prize. Drop dead gorgeous, I can post pics if anyone cares.

We've taken it out on three occasions, just for a drive on a country road, mind you this is Idaho in the summer which gets into the high 90s temp-wise. It overheated each time. There are countless modern solutions to this, without ruining originality. Easy for me to say, this car is worth up to $250K on the high side and he is reluctant to change a thing.

Some folks just don't enjoy their vintage cars, they store them for viewing and gathering trophies.
