lets see your ride !

'05 530i. Bought this used in January 2007 and it now has about 80,000 miles. This photo just after the front bumper cover was replaced after the local car wash guy bashed it into the rear of his trailer and cracked the bumper cover. Also had the two driver-side doors repainted at the same time after a color screwup when the doors were repainted a few years ago.

She still looks squeaky clean! I like those large 7 spoke wheels too. You put about as many miles on yours as I do on mine. My friends are always in line to buy my hand me downs cuz I take care of my stuff. I suspect yours is the same.

Thanks. Those are 18" BMW style 123 wheels that were an option on '04 and '05 cars. This car came with 17" 5 spoke wheels but I really liked these 18"ers so I bought them after getting the car.

I try to take care of the little things that crap out as well as the big things. Right now the weather stripping around the rear window needs to be replaced, again, as the sun has beaten it into submission.

Major motorcycle accident a few years back. Lost one leg, the other one's the bad one, and replacement shoulder, so riding a real bike is out of the question. The Can Am Ryker is a full automatic (CVT trannie similar to those used on their snowmobiles), drive by wire with linked ABS brakes, reverse gear. and a low step over height (26") so that gets me back on the road anyway.

Besides, it'll look good parked next to the Ural and be a whole lot easier to drive ...

And ya ... it certainly looks like something Darth Vader would have in the garage, right?

Dang it’s been along time since I’ve seen an escort wagon!

Man I want a Ural, just not a nice one.

You've got some stones to keep riding. If that were me, I'd have taken it as a sign and hung it up. Good for you!

Took delivery Friday on an X3 M40i and traded in my X2. Can't get too crazy as I'm still in my break in but holy hell... M2 and X3 are going to be good friends...

Nice X! Same color as mine. Hard to see the interior color - is it black with blue stitch? Mine is Phytonic Blue with the cognac interior. I have the 21" wheels as well.

I'm still amazed by the abilities of my SUV. That engine is something else, the smooth power and the way the transmission puts that power down on the road. Bet you can't wait to use launch control. It cruises the highway nice as well. I know you'll enjoy owning and driving it. Congrats!
