PS: I'll have to get a bigger garage!

'05 530i. Bought this used in January 2007 and it now has about 80,000 miles. This photo just after the front bumper cover was replaced after the local car wash guy bashed it into the rear of his trailer and cracked the bumper cover. Also had the two driver-side doors repainted at the same time after a color screwup when the doors were repainted a few years ago.

1986 Toyota Truck 2WD SR5 X-can w/5-speed. Bought new and has been my only daily driver for 35 years. Now has 476,000 mile on it. Runs great, idles smooth, anf gets good gas mileage. In process of replacing parts that normally don't wear out in normal ownership time interval. Wheel bearings, ball joints, control arm/leaf spring bushings, radiator, steering gear and linkage, motor/transmission mounts....etc. Luckily parts are plentiful and inexpensive

I started a simple project of replacing the rear cargo area wood flooring of my '57 wagon before the pandemic. Got the old plywood up and was not happy with the amount of rust that had invaded the metal pan under. So, started here:

And, nearly two years later, we resumed today and got it to here:

New floor deck pan, spare tire well going back in. Adding a structural frame crossmember to carry the shocks - versus the through-the-pan original design. Should keep us out of the pool hall for awhile. My oldest, Dustin, did all the heavy lifting. He's a good work partner!

Made 12 dyno pulls last night trying to chase down gremlins. Hopefully it will pay off at the track. Long day and longer night.

Looks like the HP is back in spades. The car was unable to leave on the transbrake, even at 3000 RPM and the suspension as tight as it goes. It would wheelie too high and too long, scared the hell out of me and hit the oil pan when it landed. So last attempt for the night I just stabbed it from an idle and it ran a 9.0.
The 330 on the pass before was .05 quicker but too violent to try again. So it should have an 8 second pass in it. I need to back off the rear gear and probably the trans gear too.
