You’ll have to wait till tomorrow to see it. I have been on the hunt for a replacement family hauler for nearly 6mo. Looked at a ton of used SUV, crossovers and vans. I likely overpaid due to this used car craze but couldn’t stomach 35-40k for new car.

I paid 18,800 for a fairly well loaded 2014 Buick Enclave with 53k mi. Car is super clean. MSRP was 44,400 new. Pics coming later today when they deliver to my house.

it checked all the boxes:

cargo capacity behind 2nd row is 70cu ft.
Seats 7
Roof rack w/ crossbars for my cargo carrier
Tow hitch for bike rack
Remote start with heated butt warmers
Power tailgate for bad shoulder.

How things can change in less than a year! I sold the Corvette in #365 and bought another iconic sports car.
08 Porsche Boxster 987 6cyl. mid-engine, 5sp manual. Not as fast as the Corvette, but much more fun to drive, more like an adult Go-Kart!

You're correct! But not that close to the C6. It did 0-60mph in 4.0sec, top speed 186mph. The S version 0-60mph in 5.1sec, top speed 169mph.
The base version 0-60mph in 5.7sec, top speed 160mph. This car is plenty fast enough for me. On twisty roads this car will blow the doors off the Corvette. It will instill confidence in handling that the Corvette never had! The HP is base 245, S 295, and Corvette 436.

Agreed most corvette owners probably drive their cars at most 5/10th the cars potential.

Picked up a 1984 RX-7 project, this will be the fifth RX-7 I have owned. It was originally dark blue over tan interior with power steering, not a common car.
It is fully bridgeported, Holly carb, Racing Beat intake, header, and exhaust. I’m probably going to instal a Holly Sniper EFI kit, Mallory ignition, should be good for 160+ horsepower rapping up to 9000rpm. It really doesn’t do anything till 4000 rpm.
Being bridgeported it has a really nice choppy idle, brapp brapp brapp brapp brapp brapp!!

Yes, it has the 85 GSL-SE wheels, I will install a set of Panasport ultra lights, you know how I think!
The Racing Beat exhaust is, in my opinion, the premier exhaust for these cars, it’s much lower than the super trap, which I’ve used on other cars. I’ll text you a sound bite, tell me what you think. The main issue is the aux fuel pump is really loud!!

It has a 4 speed manual trans with electric overdrive. Everything on the car works, even the Smiths Clock.

One of the nicest body styles of the era, still very attractive and elegant. Volvos were known for their reliability and simplicity. Love it.

Thanks. I always liked them too. I figure it should outlast me, after all, Irv Gordon drove a 1967 P1800 for 3.2 million miles.
I have about 3 million or so to go.
