What tv show are you currently binging?

Hanna - Amazon Prime. Gonna watch it all because I'm stuck at home with Pneumonia, but Meh... Right from the start I was thinking, "Wait, haven't I seen this before?" But, it's a March 2019 release. Come to find out, it's based on a 2011 movie of the same name. There's nothing new under the sun... again.

Finished Hannah on Amazon Prime yesterday. The story kept me interested, but was predictable for the most part. I thought the acting of the main character (Esme Creed-Miles) was pretty wooden for the most part, and the writing for her focused a bit too much on teen age angst crap. Her "father" in the series is Joel Kinnaman, who also starred in the excellent Altered Carbon series. The lead "bad guy" was a female CIA officer played quite well by Mireille Enos. Every time she smiled, it gave me the creeps. She has been in a lot of stuff I've seen, but I hadn't really noticed her before.

Almost forgot to mention how much music there was in this series. Lots of Europop stuff, of course. Heard some interesting Billy Eiliish cuts. Actually, there was probably too much time wasted on teens listening to music for my taste. Just tell the damned story...

Found DVD's for the entire HBO series Deadwood in my stuff yesterday, so may start watching that again. I haven't heard the word "cocksucker" enough lately...;) Plus, I watched John Wick 2 the other day, and I can't get enough of Ian McShane.

Wolf Hall
(BBC)

The story of the rise of Thomas Cromwell, the rise --and fall -- of Lady/Queen Anne Boleyn, and thus the rise of Jane Seymour. "Wolf Hall" is named for a great manor house called Wulfhall, the historical seat of the Seymour Clan.

Finished Wolf Hall last night. Too bad the series ends @ The Boleyn Execution and does not extend, as the name of the program somewhat implies, into The Seymour era, what with "Wolf Hall" (i.e., "Wulfhall") having been the Seymour Clan's ancestral estate. But who knows, maybe the creators of this series will produce a second series covering The Seymour era?

Just finished season 15 of NCIS on Netflix and waiting for season 16 :(. Guess I'll have to find something else.

Killing Eve: S01 (and only, to date), Epis 1 & 2.

Mmm, ok I s'pose but it's no Smiley's People.

Anyway, Epis 3-8 to go, then done.

We've been watching Vikings...through season 4, but with nice weather almost here may not catch up til next winter.
