leaving headphones plugged into the jacks and then carelessly hitting the plugged in plug. People think because the units have panloc set up they can pick up the unit and swing it around by the face plate. WRONG! And keep those face plates away from belt buckles..

Happens just about as often as a finger poke into a speaker dustcap. Also, fron c_dk's comment above, I believe there is a very strong inverse correlation between someone's obsession to the hobby and the spouse's tolerance of the hobby/equipment. It's happened to me in the past.

Guilty here. I cracked my C32 glass when trying to put the faceplate back on... I had the diffuser BARELY out of alignment. I did, however, buy a new one to replace it, though.

Carrying the unit with the glass face against your gut, improper packing, and not really giving a **** when handling a unit.

I recall seeing an MC352 for sale with a cracked face not that long ago. The owner didn't even recognize it as an issue - like they were all that way.

Well sometimes it's their form of disposal and they have no idea how to throw nice garbage away. As an example, my Mac's were tossed into a dumpster and had other old electronics thrown in on top of them! I keep telling people when you go to throw out your vintage gear the only proper way is to call me first, and then gently place said gear on the blanket on the floor of my truck. Do you think they listen? Nooooo, not at all. ( yes the Macs in the dumpster is true!) .
