Hello, I am trying to get a definitive answer on whether an SQA module works properly with a stereo input or if it is ONLY meant for SQ encoded programs. When I play stereo signal (cassette-FM) into my SQA, it sounds terrible, but I was told that the decoder should make stereo into quasi-quad.

Well, changed the cables on the turntable, got the proper stylus and cartridge, played a CD4 album, had 4 channels, now I guess I need a Marantz cd4 test record to adjust the CD-400B. Anyone have one they can loan out for a week or so? Thanks Rich
