How many of you folks carry a pocket knife. I don't carry one much anymore, but have several. How bout posting a pic of yours and telling us why you like it.

My favorite is an older Parker. Here is a pic of it

I've got a Spyderco Delica that I can't seem to lose. I like it because it's just about perfect. It's lightweight, sharp, and has a clip that puts it tip up in my pocket. The big hole in the blade makes for easy one-handed opening. In fact, I can get it out of my pocket, open the blade, use the knife, unlock and close it, and return it to my pocket... all one-handed!

I do as my Grandfather taught me, and never go anywhere but Sunday school without a knife. I honestly don't know how folks get along without one. Nice looking Parker Grump.

Picked up this Gerber at Target.

EZ one-handed use.

This is my second one. My first slipped out of my suit in the Metro.

Wish I had back the PILE of 'em I've carried-and managed to lose-over the years...An El Cheapo hangs around FOREVER, but an expensive one will have a dismayingly short lifespan...

I carry a little Inox pen knife for the office. Little slim stainless thing. One of those "refined gentleman" things.

Around the Farm, I carry a small lockback of high quality. I forget the barnd but it was specially made for Ingersol Rand. The kind of thing you could hammer through a nail....if you had to.

Yeah, father always used to say things like, "a man with out a knife..(or a pencil/pen) was useless."

I've got one of those little Swiss Army Executive knives on my key-chain with the little bitty 1" or so blade.
I do have a larger Swiss with the usual bunch of tomfoolery, and a lock-back Schrade that was my Dad's in my desk drawer that's pretty intimidating with a 3 1/2" blade, albeit with a pitted tip.

And there's usually a razor blade box cutter in my pocket. Tool of the trade and all that...

I usually carry an old Camillus USA #4 lockblade.
Single 4" blade with a wooden handle and brass bolsters on both ends.

Sometimes carry a small Schrade CH3 (Clip Hanger, I think it was called). It's a small lock-back with about 2" blade, half-serrated, and black polymer body. Plenty enough that it's all I've needed to field dress the last few deer I've taken.

I carry a 3" M-Tech clip-on around all the time (then again, I have a mini-farm which requires a knife quite a lot). Picked it up at a knife shop between Stevens Pass and Leavenworth, WA on Hwy 2 about three years back for $25. Best cheap knife I've ever owned.

Camera phone is broken at present, but I carry a double bladed Smith and Wesson Cuttin' Horse. I don't realize how much I use it until I forget it. I like it because it is compact, sturdy, and has two blades (one is serrated.) There isn't much I can't use it for - opening records, cutting up fish bait, opening drinks, etc.

I know it's not technically a pocket knife, but I always carry a Leatherman with me... it's "the right tool for job"! :smoke:

I carry two. A Swiss Army Knife with tools and things, and a locking Benchmade that won't break if I'm cutting something tough.
