What tv show are you currently binging?

"The Punisher" (NETFLEX 2017-19) is 90% action, with little character development, since the show centres around the protagonist.

Being a combo of West/Willis/Rambo, ain't no one gonna best this man in the search of personal pay-back.

If you want mostly mash-bash wherein the plot makes you stretch...this is a series for you.

Judge Judy.

Woman (plaintiff) sued houseguest (defendant) because defendant's 5 year old son got into a closet and found plaintiff's old breast implants in a box. The child used the implants to play catch with defendant's dog and the dog punctured the implants.
Plaintiff sued for $4000 claiming the <old> implants had sentimental value.

She was awarded $1 and the judge told the defendant to watch her kid.

Now I understand why my folks loved this show!

Where can a kid and dog have that much fun for a dollar. :)

Just finished up a Brit offering, "Legends" (NETFLIX 2026).

Excellent writing, acting and a plot that doesn't go stagnant!

Built on real life situations, and the series engages the viewer.

Worth the time to take in! One of the few.

2 eps in
reminds me of "the wire".
i dont usually like accents [ tinnitus really buggers that ] in this most are not too bad.

i am liking this one.

We just starting watching Widow's Bay on Apple TV. It looks like it's gonna be a good one.
We're really digging it. Has a lot of that '80s Carpenter vibe, but still it's own thing. And it balances comedy and horror, episodic and serialised really well.

Only downside is being all caught up and having to wait a week between relatively short episodes.

Turned off Paramount and HBO for a bit. Turned Netflix back on.
We finished Legends over the weekend. Liked it, and Emma said it reminded her of The Wire also!
Watching The Buroughs on Netflix- like the actors, story isn't too badly written either.

Just wrapped up "Widow's Bay" (2026) as well, and it is...unique!

Billed as a horror/comedy, leaning on the comedy side.

The writers do keep you guessing as to outcomes, with some outlandish characters in the line up.

Good for some light entertainment.

Were are five episodes into the Buroughs and are enjoying it !

watched the first 2 eps last night, looks interesting.
My wife is irritated with Gina Davis talking, she says her dentures must be loose because she is trying to talk with her teeth clamped shut ! I didn't notice, but my dentures fit properly !

"Spider-Noir" - Amazon Prime. A Nicholas Cage production featuring Nicholas Cage appearing as Nicholas Cage. In all seriousness, though, we were VERY pleasantly surprised with how good and involving this is. So far we're three episodes in, watching it in color although they also offer it in period/genre-correct black and white. The cinematography is excellent and fascinating, and the juxtaposition of film noir styling with the superhero genre is a lot of fun.
