That was a great series. I was happy to see that Netflix had other series from Harlan Coben, until I found that they were in Polish, French, and Spanish.
 
Timeless. Good, but not great. The paradoxes they create are laughable, but I'm a sucker for time travel stuff, so I can suspend disbelief most of the time. I thought it was funny that they thought they had to make JFK survive to be president so a nuclear war wouldn't happen. Politics snuck in...

Right... the "captions" can be a PIA, and oft times the languages don't really mix well.

Lucky nuff to understand French, and I can sorta get along in Spanish, but have no Polish language skills.

I've noticed in some foreign language movies that when you turn on captions AND english dubbing, they don't match. It's like reading a King James bible and an NIV at the same time. They basically say the same thing, but it's like two completely different people or entities were doing the translation. And on rare occasion, the meanings don't actually match.

That is exactly what I found with the foreign language Netflix series. The subtitles would show "Yes sir" and the lips continue to move for another 30-40 seconds. I'm sitting there wondering what the rest of the conversation was.

The only TV series I appreciated with just the English subtitles was "Fauda" which was orig offered in Hewbrew.

When the English background words were spoken, the voice did not match the character...but the orig speech did.

It was a solid series, that helped me appreciate the deep hatred between the two cultures and the ongoing events that kept this divide... so sustaining.

Still working through the Queer Eye 2018 "sorta reboot" ... now in season 06, so this + three to conclude. I still like it a lot, maybe more now than in the earlier going.

It's getting down to the last few WC games. I'll keep watching but, if I was into conspiracies, it seems like the fix is in. It's been a drama-filled 'series' no doubt.

Watching tennis - last year I had open heart surgery during the early stages of the Australian Open. My painkiller meds caused minor hallucinations. When I tried to watch a little tennis in the hospital, the meds did strange things to my sense of perspective. It looked like very big players in the forecourt playing very small players in the away court on a tilted court. It was messing with me and I couldn't watch. Soon after, I changed my meds. Even this year while watching Wimbledon I occasionally lost focus and perspective. Weird!

Kinda of a sorta fix ... maybe a bit of fixin' ... probably. If you're FIFA you NEED a final with Mbappe vs Messi.

can we also post where to watch the suggestions?Added to my list, but searching and lots on streaming service I don't subscribe to.
 
Not binging: Ride or Die on Netflix. Hannah Waddingham is lovely but the script is gimmicky. One episode was enough for me.
