Worst guitar solo ever?

There's a large bin full of unsolicited CD's rejected for airplay about 15 feet from my office at the radio station. 99% range from bad to horrible to what should be considered criminal. Ignorance, stupidity and genuine total lack of anything resembling talent abound.

I have no idea how I made it through that. Its like some producer found they had no idea what they were doing musically and decided to make a mockery of the music industry by putting it out there for the whole world to see. I see the "Dumb and Dumber" of music right here!
No, no! This is brilliant! The bassist spends a fifth of the song intentionally playing dissonant two-note chords and the guitarist, similarly, is intentionally out of phase. I went on to check out a whole album from these guys (Stump) and they do some very adventurous stuff. Looks like it was maybe in the late 1980's which makes sense after hearing it.

I love the Grateful Dead, but watching Bob Weir teach himself to play slide guitar on stage, in concert, in the early 80s was painful.

I'm remembering "In the Canyons of Your Mind" by the Bonzo Dog Band, it was a parody song but they nailed the horrible guitar solo for sure.
Yes indeed! You really have to know the instrument in order to play the wrong notes so well...

This will be my nomination. When Adam Ant says, "Ok Marco, let's see what you can do!" at 1:15, you're expecting some kind of sizzling guitar solo to follow. What happens for the next 15 seconds is truly anticlimactic. Is that it? That's all Marco can do? Maybe you should audition some new guitarists.
